Maxis Raz'rs or Holeshot XCT? Whats better..I need help!!

I ride a polaris scrambler 500....I think that the stock tires on polaris suck!! So I plan on purchising some new rear tires for my quad...I've been going back and forth with the Max~Raz'rs and the Holeshot XCT....I've heard that holeshot has had some bad rep in the past but I heard that they are coming back..Both tires are six ply and the tread pattern for both is just about the same...Well I need some tires quick and I need some info on what is better..should I go with the raz'rs or the XCT???? I mostly just do trail riding, hill climbing, and some track riding,,and of course I play in the mudd a little! Send me your opinion..I need ideas and quick!

i went ahead and got the holeshots. so far i've had them in the sand and in the grass but no trail situations. so far i like them, especially over the stock tires and rims. i did notice a little bit wider stance in the front end with the itp T9 series wheels.

The 6ply razrs are heavy duty. I went a full seson of hare scrambles on 1 set on my predator. They wear very well! From what I've seen, the ITP's will wear a little faster on you!

I really don't like the razrs that came on my Predator. Hard ground they just suck, spin all the time. The Predators I have ridden with the Holeshots seem to get a lot better traction all around than the razrs.

holeshots will give better grip than the razr's i think, but they dont last very long AT ALL! if you dont mind having to get new tires all the time, go for the holeshots. razr's arent too much worse than holeshots, but th ey last a whole lot longer

Ya,,,man this is a tuff decision!!! I read in atv action an article on the new maxxis razr mx tires and I'm kind of leaning in that direction. But those holeshots still catch my eye..I might have to stick with the maxxis...I don't want to keep investing money in tires..I'd rather invest in other mods!! but thanks for everyones help!!

Well, the razr's arent' a great tire for the predator really. I take back my previous statement because It wasn't mentioned in the topic, but definately look at the Kenda Klaws...superb forward traction, and I worked with a couple teams in teh 12 hours of america race...no flats the entire race and the tires still looked like they had 85% tread left... A grizzly that raced that race racked up over 600 total miles by the time you figure wheelspin..all in one day!!

I got maxxis razors on my 300ex and my assosiate has holeshot on his 400ex and sofar, both hold up really good....i think that the holeshot will grip in the dirt a little better but razors are better in the snow, but both will last a long time. so either would be a good choice
