Nathan,
Glad to hear your doing good. Hope you get better soon. You better hang on to that woman you got. She sounds like a keeper.
I dont know you but you should find the post on here that people are talking about not wearing a helmet and post your story and pics. Maybe they will get the picture.
Take care and hope you get back on your feet soon.
Bob

Praise God your alive NC. It definately sounds like its only by God's will that your here with us. He really must have some more plans for you my friend. I'm glad that your doing better, and I know that its hard to let that atv go, but don't worry He has greater things in store for you.
I know one thing for sure, You just taught me that I'm never going to go riding anywhere by myself. I had been toying around with going to a local state park to toy around by myself from time to time when no one could ride with me..........Not anymore. You just changed my mind. I thank you for that. If you do decide to ride again you be sure to let me know as I'm an NC native myself. I'd love to meet up with you some time. Good luck, and you'll be in my prayers.

Glad to hear your on the road to recovery.
Maybe you can come to Rick Ritters party and share your story w/ everyone there. I'd sure like the people who dont wear helmets know why they need to.
I was around in the late 80's when the sport (ATVing) almost died. I did a thieses (study/report) on ATV's and it turned out that 3 factors were involved in over 80% of all injuries. 1. riding w/o a helmet, 2. riding under the influence, 3. riding on paved surfaces (riding w/ passangers was up there also). Anyway a college girl down the road was riding her brothers trike to the pond on the farm. Just a dirt road 1000' long. wasnt wearing a helment and wasnt going fast, just a freak accident. She hit a bump and fell off hitting her head on a rock and knocked her into a coma for 2 weeks. Agian we are talking under 20mph. I wont even ride if somebody in the group doesnt have a helmet. I even carry extra helmets with me.
Again, Glad to hear your on the road to recovery.

NC, I just want to slap you for riding alone!!!! But that might slow your healing.
All I can say is, "glad your still with us"
heal up good,,,,,and maybe get into hiking for a couple years till you learn how to ride
glad you are back
