is it possible to do this?
I was wanting to convert from the thumb throttle to a twist throttle like on a dirt bike... anyone ever done this? If so, what will I need to get ??

Motion Pro makes a conversion. BUT, I have heard that they don't work that well on quads at all. It is a lot different than on a bike. They also are a lot more dangerous

 

Most who do it don't like it. I've talked to several guys about it and only one I know of liked the twist throttle. One of the big problems is that you have to stear a quad, but on bikes you do far more leaning to turn.

 

I have allways run a twist throttle on my quads and love it but I have allways had dirt and street bikes so it just natural for me. It wasn't until 96 when I started riding quads. It is hard to get away from what you are use to.

noooo just make one yourself take some pipe htats a bit bigger then your handle bars and make your grips fit over it and drill a hole it the pipe to put the throtle cable
