no it doesnt have as much bottom end as a raptor.. but it doesnt ride like a 2-stroke either... climbing hills is a breeze with my pred.. it has more bottom end than most.

Just came from the dealer. Tech/racer was doin' a bit of tweakin' on his Pred.....sigh, I just couldn't help staring at that HUGE HPD pipe. The definition of flow! I might have to give in.

Well lets see. I know for a fact that a stock Predator has less bottom end than a 400ex, Z-400/KFX400/DVX400, Raptor, DS650, YFZ450, and the V-Force. Thats pretty much every sprot quad out there. What's it more snappy than? A 300ex? Mojave? Warrior? Dont get me wrong here. Once piped the quad is a fire breathing beast all the way through. Just saying that after rding a highly modded 250R for over 10 years, the stock Predator has a similar power curve as the 2-stroke.

ok, slight change of subject. Do you feel that the Pred needs a new headpipe to take advantage of a new of a new scilencer? I am looking at the hpd and White Brothers pipes for my pred.

i think the stock head pipe has plenty of flow... but i went with my BG over HMF because of the later option of a head pipe.
PS.. i smoke 400ex's and Z-400's and its clones off the line every time.. i was takin my buddys piped Z off the line while i was stock.

Several companies don't offer the headpipe cause they couldn't get any additional gains out of it...polaris did their homework on that one. But I would definately spend $75 to send it to jet-hot and get ceramic coating on it. It will look sweet, and will no longer rust!! Plus it will reduce temps around the head by 50%, right modquad
