The Honda has a good reputation for reliability but don't come close to performance. The H is low slung compared to the Sp therefore gets hung up more easily. The Sportsman is a reliable ride but maybe not as reliable as the H. If you add good mud tires the H it will compare to a stock Sp, now add those same tires to the Sp and the gap widens. This is from my riding experience not hearsay. The bottom line, both machines are good with the H having the edge on reliability and the Sp has the edge on performance.
