believe it or not the fender plastics weigh a lot and when i cut mine i think i lost about 6-8 pounds on them. you can get a oil injection block off kit, starter block off kit, and what i do when i work on my quad is i remove things i dont need. just look the quad over and take off stuff u dont need.

do u think it would be smart to remove the rear brakes?? because there is something already wrong with mine and they dont work at all. so would it be worth removing them and losing weight or fixing them.

Get a lighter battery and relocate it. I heard some people doing it. Then maybe cut off the battery tray. Lighter swingarm. I don't know who makes one though. All I know is the main reason I replied, not only to try and help, but mostly because of tbsleeper's icon. Yeah. Yeah. Cool.

Front brakes will drop about 12 lbs. Remove the floorboards and put nerf bars on, can't remember what the floorboards weigh, but they are heavy. Remove any skidplates, remove starter and battery, get a white brothers battery eliminator so you can keep your lights.
