How do I remove scratches and scrapes from the plastic parts and restore them to the original shine? Most people in the business just tell me to replace the plastic. I am looking for a technique to fix the problem myself without new parts.

Go to the Honda Forum. Just a couple of days ago, a guy asked this same question and got like 40 replys on how people clean their quads differently. Go check it out. Good Stuff!

Hope to have helped,

EC

Maverick I read all that but the one that I use is MOP$GLOW,it will cover the scratches and stay on there. The trouble with son of a gun or 2001 or any of them is they atrack dirt as they stay wet.The mop & glow dry's like a wax you have to put on several coats so dont give up just let dry between coats.CM

Chickenman,

Thanks for the idea. Using Mog&Glow should work great. If that stuff can stand up to traffic on floors it should work on the trails also.

Maverick,

Your gonna need the Mega-Gulp sized bottle and a sprayer to do the trails ...
