No, shouldn't have to. But I would have them checked once a year if you put lot's of miles on it!

your just below 6000??!!! where at?
i am at sea level.. when i had my k&n drop in and biggun slipon with 6 uni vents.. i had a 162.5
if i had those installed on my quad.. my dealer told me i would need a 155... that seems low to me.. and since your at 6000 ft.. and the higher the elevation the higher the jet.. i think.. i would put a 162.5 or 165.. you might wanna even get a 167.5..
i am not sure how much elevation changes jetting.. but its a start for ya atleast

I live at 5000" I would start with a 150 main, on the valves. If you had to kick this mach over, i bet more of us would be checking them more often.

i'm no expert on jetting but wouldn't you need to jet lighter at higher altitude. Less oxygen, so why ad more fuel?

I am not exactly sure what elevation I am at I live in the southeastern part of wisconsin all I do know is it is 6000feet or less Im not even sure if I have to rejet at all like I said the only add ons on the machine are a WB slip-on and a k&N panel drop-in filter with the stock box, lid, snorkel, oh and a polaris tach/hrmeter/

ya thats makes sense...

as for starting at a 150? the machine is stock at 150... since stryder is right.. higher altitude lesss jet needed id go with a 155 or 157.5

PS.. you are supose to rejet with just the k&n...
but for some reason polaris says you dont need to rejet with the WB slip-on... i called WB myself to ask how much power it gave.. and they said 1-2 HP.

Stock is supose to be 150 on the main. But I would open it up to see any-way. And if the 150 is still to rich,(check plug 1st) you can drop down to 147.5 But that would be the leanest IMO that you would need to go. Thier's a 142.5 Also. If you need more help on it email me.
