Default Predator help/info

Hey guys, I have an '03 Predator and I just recently put a Pure pipe on it and a K&N. My carb has also had work done to it. My question is based on the fact that I just ran into about 400-450 dollars. I was thinking of dumping this into my quad. What are some suggestions as to where to improve?? I am looking for mostly speed and power, but also looking into the "rezzis" I hear about in here too. Are these just for the front, how much, what are the advantages/disadvantages?? Thanks a lot!! Brad - Have a Merry Christmas

some people complain that it doesnt have enought bottom end and pick up a 13T front sprocket..
i dont have the rezzies but i hear it is one of the best mods you can do to it...
they run 300$ just for the rezzies... then you gotta have them installed... from what ive heard it is kinda expensive to have them put on... so it might take up all of your 400...
and then it all depends on what kinda riding you do.. fast aggressive trails or on a track the rezzies will be very usefull...

for power... get a high compression piston, i heard those add a punch too.

Remote rezzies or vortex cdi
depends on what type of riding your doing.

If you're looking to harescramble that predator...just save up a little more money, then send the shocks off to rath to get his revalve kit with some multiple spring rates. I also belive that Derisi racing has a multiple spring and revalve kit for the predator as well...Yes, the rezzis make a big difference in the quality of ride...but don't stop there, get teh multiple spring rates too!! Otherwise if you just want some power, get a higher compression piston...will help it rev a lot quicker. And if you have a pipe, maybe go to a 38T rear sprocket, or 39 to have good low grunt and keep some of your top end for the open straights.

Well guys, thanks for all of the advice but I have a few more questions. First off, I like to ride in lots of trails, and mainly I am getting ready to go to the dunes, so I want to be fast too. Can you guys explain the vortex cdi and the purpose of the rezzies?? Are these things to make it smoother and faster? I think the cdi lets you rev it more, right? Another question, if you were to go with the rezzies, are they possible to be put on by myself, or what is so difficult?? And my last question, what does the Predator come with, as for gears?? If you guys forgot any other good mods, feel free to throw them in too. Thanks for all of the help. Brad
