Default When do you consider it broke in good

Hi all I have a sportsmen 400 2004 model,I don't have many miles or hours on it yet I think it has about 130 miles on it and about 16 hours on it.It seems to be geting a bit more power to it you know peeper but I have never owned a polaris befor so I don't know alot about them just learning as I go so I figure one way to learn more is to ask ? about it if I seem to be a bug I don't mean to just trying to figure things out so bear with me ok. Ok so back to the main part of my ? it has a top speed of 45 or so mph and high end rpms are around 5900 some times it will get up to around 6200 rpms. When it gets up to around 6200 rpms it will run about 50 or so mph.So I guess what i'm beting the bush about is will it get better or do you think this is about all it will do?Thanks to all who took the time to read this.

Ya, if you have burned a full tank of gas and that is your top speed it will probably stay at that top speed until you start to modify it Hopefully that helped

Should be broken in pretty well. I have noticed that the engines 'loosen' up a bit some more by about 400 miles and I do notice more power. I think the initial break in is done by about 150 miles, but I think the eninge will continue to seat itself for a while.

Your SP400 should get a little bit faster as you get more miles on it . Usually SP400's have a top speed of 55mph.
