Nifty ride! You can contact Grizzly (as in the wood and metal working products) they have a 90 degree, black elbow you can install on your clutch cooling outlet. Eventhough there is a positive flow of air there....with sand flying, it never hurts to have something there to try to stop it from entering. Only costs around $3 and they have a size that fits the larger outlet on the newer covers.

One thing to play around with. The last time I was at Silver Lake, people just couldn't figure out what my machine was....even the Polaris on the seat wasn't there due to the HPD seat cover. I think at least 20 people came up to me and kept bugging me what kinda machine had just beat them. Sigh....I missed the sand this year. sniff.

Hillclimber, the frame was mine, but rebuilt with chromoly wherever it could be, safely and securely by AZ Bad Boyz. They have the AArms as well. For the dunes, I ended up with a blue primary and S55 weights, blue secondary. Works good for my bike. You can talk prices with Dennis or checkout his website, AZ Bad Boyz He's pretty cool and very helpful. Later!!!!

I have a 99 sport set up very simular to yours except I run alcohol in it. How does the 14/34 gearing work out on your hole shot? Are you running 22" rear tires? I am planing to come to Glamis in 2004 just can't decide if in the spring or the fall.

Pennyless, I am running 21x12x8 8 paddle haulers. The hole shot is where I get everyone, the gearing is perfect for me. Let me know when your coming down, or PM me for directions or info if you need it! Love to see some more Polaris's kickin some a$$!
