Yeah, maybe killing the scumbags would get you in trouble, but you sure would feel better about it.

Is your cell phone one of the newer ones w/ the GPS location feature. I'm not real up on this, though mine has it, but I think if it's enabled and they make a call, it pinpoints their location. Just an idea.

It doesn't have the GPS feature Would be nice if it tied into my personal GPS. No need for a police report, and like the signature says, No witnesses, No problems.

GLad too hear your losses were not worse. Several years back I had a thief stealing my fuel from my vehicles during the night. Run a little 110 too the truck, flip the switch, load up the ole pump shotgun and wait. About 3am all hell broke loose. I have no trouble with thieves stealing my fuel anymore. This is hypothetical of course....

Fact is...ALL digital phones use GPS for timing. Law enforcement can locate their position if they make/take a call.
The GPS/timing on the phone is used to determine which cell site to use and when and where to hand off to the next one if you are moving.

i too sleep with a .40 ruger in my bed, and my truck is very loud outside my window. I rather shoot my own truck full of holes then let someone drive it out of my driveway! Count on it

Not all cell phones are able to trianglate their signal for positioning. Law enforcement would love it if they did. They can give the cell area it's from, but not exact positioning. Too many people call 911 from their cell phones assuming the dispatcher has their location. They can "guess" where you're at, but unless you can give an exact location, it will add time to the responding unit (fire, ambulance, police).

I don't understand for a man feels safer going too bed with a loaded gun nearby or under the pillow. I sometimes do some crazy stuff while I am asleep and certainly do not trust myself....LOL.

Most cell coverage should be enhanced 911 capable by now which can triangulate the position of the phone down to a little over a block using 3 cell towers.. if you dont have 3 I dont think it will work.

and thats only if you dial 911 from the phone. Local cops dont have any way to do it
