no clue what it is......

Default no clue what it is......

today when i went ot grease up the fittings i seen the motor above the head pipe had all kind of black oil or somthing all over the front. do any of you guys know what it is??? whats causing it?? and is it ok to still ride??

the newer model tie rod ends

Default no clue what it is......

could it be somthin a wrong with the head gasket and its leaking oil through there

Default no clue what it is......

Was it on top of the head or were the head meets the jug? If it was on top it could be that the PVT vent blows air on the head and it might be debris from the belt wearing...

Check your exhaust flange gasket mine was leaking and was blowing carbon on the area above it I did not even hear a exhaust leak found it when I put my pipe on.

2003 TB250 RcR stage 1
milled head

i just put this DG exhaust i bought from a friend for 50 bucks until i decide on which pipe i want to get so im going to check what you said and i also noticed like when im out riding and start to slow down and when im about to a stop i hear like air swooshing in that area could that be the exhaust leak??

Not sure what it would sound like but on mine the nuts were tight and the gasket good the flange was bent my exhaust came with a new flange if yours dose not check it with a straight edge. you can resurface it with a file or belt sander if it's not real bad. They do blow alot of oil and black stuff when warming up if not sealed.

Thats what it sounds like to me, Most 2 strokes will run really crappy with a exhaust leak they need their back pressure.... Check it out feel around you might feel the exhaust leaking....


And do as jeff said he right....
