Default Porting the 2004 scrambler

I want to know if anyone has dyno information on porting a 500 scrambler. I know that it is 39 at the crank stock, and 19 to the rear wheels stock. But if i were to port and polish it, what would i be at. I am going to put on fmf pipe, change the jets to 160, and change clutch springs, and possibly get nitrous installed. But i need info on porting and the power advantage

From what I hear, there isnt much to gain by porting. Maybe if you combine that with a high flow intake, cam, HC piston, and porting, THEN you may see some gains. But it would be cheaper to just get a big bore kit.

Yes, FST (Four Stroke Tech #1-814-842-6159) has a 600 and 628 stroker kits. The 628 requires race gas and the engine case has to be split and bored and a sleeve has to be installed. The stroker crank for the 600 will fit without mods to the case and the cyclinder can be bored. It costs a lot less for the 600 kit

motor mods aside

you best figure how to get some performance out of your clutch and belt (at least figure some $$$ for that too) to back that 600+ monster.

what are you trying to achieve?

Is it a 4x4?

flattrack,,,,,what??

the machine is fairly balanced in stock form

you will most likely need to modify the entire driveline(4x4) (at least to be reliable) if you decide to modify the motor to that extent.
