Bring the battery in the house, nice an warm. Pain, but it's a simple fix. Just put it back in before you ride, how long can it take.

Thats why I like my two-srokes...they love the cold...just jet them rich or youll have to do a lot more than wharm the battery. I had that electronic throttle safety thing go off on me one cold day so I couldnt start it and keep it running, had to push it into the garage.....damn safety features

hmmm, sounds like your battery is shot! If the battery was good it wouldn't go dead if it got cold, only if you left it sit for about 2 months without starting it.

I don't mean to rub anything in here but my DS650 is jetted great, I left it sit for a week and went outside, pulled the choke and hit the button and it started right up when it was -15 out..... It starts GREAT when it's cold!

By the way, today I went and watched some oval track ice races to see an ALL STOCK predator beating up some YFZ450's that had the baffle's pulled out. That was in the stock class, but the same quads ran the mod class so they put a WB/Pure Polaris pipe on the Predator, and the other guy put a Curtis Sparks pipe on the YFZ450. It was wierd the predator got his a$$ kicked bad after they did that! It ran WAY better with the stock pipe! But I was impressed that the predator in the stock class.

I like the easy way too - widen the trap door going into the basement - park it there!

Hozed, your right and wrong. The WB can doesn't add **** for power unless you do some major jetting and carb mods.

Mine also will not start if it has been sitting awhile and the temp drops below 50, it has been this way since I bought it. I have been told to turn the Air needle 1/4 turn and that should help, I just haven't had the spare time.

For now I just put a heater on the left side of the machine for 5 min and it will start. Putting the heater on the right side does nothing. I use a small electric heater that doesn't blow very hard so what ever is causing the no start in the cold problem is on the left side.
