Hey all, im saving up right now to get an exhaust kit for my pred, and wondering what i should get. I want to get a complete kit. Whats best for low to mid-end power increases? I like the Yoshimura exhaust sets, but im not sure on where they increase power and dont nkow much information about them. are they good? any reccomendations would be great! thanks

For good sound control, your two choices are a Pure Polaris/White Bros slip-on, or the HPD full unit. If you go the slip-on route, I'd make sure to send the stock headpipe out to Jet-Hot and get it coated.

Modquad, I noticed that the Pred in your profile had jet-hot coated pipes, What did they charge you to coat them. I am interested in doing the same.

That pipe was part of an article. If you call up the Jet-hot folks, they've been running some great deals. I've had two pipes done by them, and both times I had to take a moment when the boxes were opened...Sniff, sniff, mechanical beauty!

I'm not sure HPD has had time to dyno the pipe, you can call them and ask. I know they were doing some radar runs for the ATV Sport article. I also know from personally taking the prototype for a blast, I had all I could do to keep up on shifting......hmmm, maybe I should hook them up w/ a heads-up tach.
