Is this safe?

I got one of those rear cargo boxes with the integrated seat for Christmas and my wife wants to ride 2 up on it. I have the composite rack on the back of my Sportsman and am concerned about its strength for this application. Will it be ok? And if not is there a metal replacement that will provide more strength and safety.

I do belive that they are not made to be sed as a two-up design....it is suppose to be used for when resting..so I guess I would not trust the product if it wasnt made for that purpose....just my .02

MnFriesen is right. you shouldn't have a passenger. do you want that thing to flip? can you picture 700+lbs pounding down on your wife?......not a pretty sight!.....she won't be able to bail-out sitting on the back.
yes, the rear rack can handle some weight- i think around 200lb w/o researching it. i clicked-up my rear suspension one knotch and it made the ATV handle better.
BTW, i've read many posts on this Forum over the years about guy's wifes being severly injured when their ATV's suddenly, unexpectedly flipped and the weight crushed 'em.
PLEASE reconsider!
