Scrammy valve adjustment
#1
Hey guy's... I'm sure it's past time for me to adjust the valves on my Scrammy. Should I attempt this myself or take it to the shop?
So far I've performed all the performance upgrades to my scrambler but not sure of the specs for adjuting the valves. Is this a difficult task or fairly simple and will this make a noticable difference in the performace?
Thanks for any advise!

It will make a big difference, on mine it started to run kinda low on power after the valve adjustment it runs great.. I did it myself but i do have alot of mechanical experience, Its not that hard do you have a service manual?

Anytime man and when you get your manual, you will also need some silicone to seal the rocker cover and cam cover any high temp will work... When you do your valve adjustment and if you have any probs you can pm me...

I kind of cheated. I had to work on my carb so I had the plastic and tank off already. I just ran it over to the dealer and had them do it for me for 25 bucks. I live pretty close to the dealer and give them a lot off business, so when the mechanic had few minutes he slipped me in. I wasn't due to do it and there was not a lot for him to adjust.
