This is what the V-Pro bumper looks like. It doesnt look like it has a skid plate on it like the regular DG alloy bumper does. Is there any reason in particular why you want a rear skid plate? The reason why ask is because some of the people that have them complain that they get hunk up a lot easier with one on. I have riden some pretty rocky terrain, and ride only trails and mud. I have a few good size dings in my sprocket gaurd, but no damage to anything else. Plus, I dont think you can run a chain tensionor with the skid plate, in case you ever want one of those.
Fishslab, you won that DG alloy bumper for $89 right?

I can tell you from experience that the DG alloy bumper can take a beating!!!! The added protection of the lower skid plate is great. It does seem to be a good place for rocks, mud, weeds, and leaves to gather though I usually drag a "friend" home with me I believe that they make that bumper in chrome too. But I took the time to polish mine up one day and it looked real nice. Didnt last very long, but thats life
