i decided to go ahead get the 99 400 sport. somehow when i bought my 03 240 trailblazer and my kids a 90 and 50 i knew i was losing my 250 to my wife.
i might need a new exhaust and will proably keep it stock is that a god idea? what would an exhuast cst?

the second thing is my wife wants a cool chick color helemet any ideas on where to get one?

You can probably find a helmet at Rocky Mountain ATV .Exhaust wise U need to know what you are mainly gonna do with this atv.If you plan on just pleasure and trail riding I would go with Hpd trail pipe.I had one and it was awsome.Great power all around and not loud because I kept my stock silencer.If you want to ride the sand dunes or drag race you need to go with a race pipe from RCR ,HPD or CPI.I have a CPI and it works great.

I agree with 99sport on Rocky Mountain on the helmet. If you are talking about a stock pipe, then ebay is a good bet there are a couple on there now. If your talking about performance pipe, a trail pipe and clutch kit is a good way to go.
