not offense but i figured the yamaha guys would come back with a quicker response that the polaris guys... (every1 posts there thats why)
but i am lookin for a 39 or 41mm fcr carb for my pred.. and i cant find any prices online... just wondering if any1 knew where i could get one...

You can attempt to look for someone that's parting out a YZ400 or YZ426 motor and snag the 39mm FCR off of it. Might be worth it if you can find one because I been told they cost about $700 new..... OUCH!

 

ive heard that much new also... but my buddies who works at the dealer seems to think they arent much more than 500...
i looked on ebay and couldnt find any... maybe i searched wrong.. but there were hardly any carbs...

 

What about the Edelbrock carb??? any word on its performance on the Predator?? you could also look for someone parting out a DRZ400 suzuki, I had one, it has the FCR39 stock! I will have to say, I missed that carb alot after I got the raptor..

Hozed, was talking to Doug Nicholas and he seems to think that the pred carb is still the best out there. He is testing a lot of different carbs, even a harley carb, but you may call him before "wasting" any money. Im sure he has quite a few different carbs too, and always willing to give advice. worth a try anyway. Brad
