Default Riding boots

Would like to know which boots are the best for the money. I am looking at boots with the atv sole and that run around 100.00 price range. I have looked at the Oneal, A.R.C, MSR. at Rocky Mountain ATV. I am looking for comfort and support. Thanks

We tried a few different $100 boots as my boys were growing, none of them held up. To get something that will last a few years, you've got to spend a little more. I have Fox Pro Forma boots and love them.

You're already thinking smart (atv souls), I would maybe try to hit a local shop and try some of them on. There are many differences between all the boots out there, nothing better than a real world look over.

are the Fox boots flexible? My Thor ATV boots are rock hard, very hard to walk in, but they do offer great protection.

Fox's are pretty stiff also. The Thor's are pretty flexible once they're broken in. It also helps to rub in some Neat's Foot shoe oil (spelling ?). Even keeping an Armor All type protectant on them helps to soften things up.

Like the above post said, save more money, get better boots. Wear $100 riding boots once, and you'll most likely turn them into flower pots when you get home.

I have a pair of Gaerne Explorers. About $250, and the most comfortable boot I have ever worn.

They have "cleated" hiking boot type souls. You can check the sites for a pic. Rocky Mountain ATV, Dennis Kirk, Fox, O'neal...etc. Improved traction over those slick bottomed MX boots.
