it doesnt cough much.. but sometimes when pinned it cuts out and over the bumps.. once i get my carb off imma cut the spring.. thanks man.

 

Haven't had the chance to ride with a Predator, but if I go strictly with what the magazines say. Last year the Raptor was faster, also the Predator was faster than the YZF450!!! Here comes 2004...a different story with the DS650 being the only one that beats the Predator. Now...I'm only going on what was put in the magazines!!!!

 

I guess i havent rode with any body that can ride a ds. never had a stock ds beat my predator and a raptor sure enough wont beat predator. i cant say i dont like the ds cause i do. i like the raptor to. hell a like um all!!

 

I have raced 2 predators when my yfz450 was stock and won by 3 or 4 bike lengths. One was stock and the other had some stuff done to it.

Also i am thinking about buying another fourwheeler for trail riding but i cant decide between the raptor or the predator.

 

id go with a raptor for trails... if i could keep my pred and choose between the raptor and 450 id go raptor.. reverse is nice in trails.

Hozed..... you might wanna give HardRock Motorsports a call..... they were telling me pretty much the same thing as bartlettracing is telling you. If ya cant afford a new carb then they will give you options on what to do w/ your stock set-up along w/ your airbox set-up to give you the most hp. They were very informative and more then willing to talk to you about any set-up you have or might want. Hell they talked to me for about an hour!!!!! LOL Very good people and very reasonabley priced. They have good info. on exhaust pipes for each set-up and budget also. hardrockmotorsports.com

 

Who cares, the Preditor is made by Polaris! I don't know any one who have ever owned a Polaris machine and really liked it... They are ALWAYS broke down. I am sure that the Preditor will be no exception.

First of all, if you are going to talk **** at least learn HOW TO SPELL!!!! Its PREDATOR...........not PREDITOR!!!!

Second, I LOVE my machine. Hell, thats why I bought it. I am not going to go out and buy an old outdated air cooled POS Honda just cuz you may want me too. Why dont you people understand this????? Typical Honda owner

Third, My machine have NEVER EVER EVER broke down on me. I have had to fix a few things (mostly my fault) but considering what I put it through, thats not a big deal
