It is easy to bad mouth the SP500. Lets see how easy it is to out perform it.

If you are so confident in your Sportsman 500. Why don't you go and register at a local HareScramble or Cross Country race and compete against other utility machines in a real AMA race.
These races take place on neutral ground and have every type of terrain possible. It is a timed test of man and machine against every other man and machine. If you win.....the bragging rights are all yours. If you lose....better luck next time.
When the gate drops....The BS stops!!!!

I would love to if those were held around here. If it is all out racing trails, the SP500 would not have a chance. If it is really a variety of deep mud, hills, rough trails and obsticals, The SP500 would dominate the Utility ATVs.

IN MY OPINION.

I hope someone accepts this challenge. I have a feeling I will get a whole lot of:

If frogs had wings, they wouldn't bust their tails as much.

There are thousands of ATVs in East Texas, someone must want to prove the capabilities of their bike.

If we're talking about capabilities of the BIKE, I believe you must switch riders, Greg. Factor out differences in skill levels.

Now, everybody play fair!

Treefarmer,
you are right but how can you compare without actual competitions. If we swithed bikes, we may not push another bike as we do our own. This won't be a perfect test but it will certainly be fun.

Greg,

You posted a challenge on the Honda Forum, but you didn't accept from the Louisanna Grizzly. Whats up with that?

Why did you purchase a 2000 Sportsman, whats wrong with 1998 Sportsman? Problems?

Everyone have a safe Holiday!
