Default Drag help please

I dont think i explained the raod well enough lol, its pretty much safe, i know everyone that lives on the street for 1, they wotn mind, 2. its a STRAIGHT road, you can see one side to the other, and we would close off a small area for lets say 5 mins to get it done, no one in my area would mind. its pretty much a drag strip. SAFE

i think you would beat the car

i beat a 94 caprice classic with a 350 engine in 300 ft. on my scrammy but it was on a dirt road.

i agree with the others, unless you have a hell of alot of life insurance i dont think you should race on pavement,i think you should take it to a REAL strip and line it up

but hey,im only 15 too!so what do i know

You forgot to mention the part about your girlfriend's mom being a professional race car driver and stunt person. Someone obviously qualified to handle a potentially dangerous situation and react with nerves of steel and cat like reflexes.

Then race one at a time on your drag strip if it is really that safe and have people watching for traffic. You can use what is commonly referred to as a stopwatch and time your speeds. An average of 3 runs apiece should give you an idea of how fast each vehicle is.

For the lawyers who will read this later, I do not in any way shape or form support this type of activity and have advised your client against it. Thanks.

Not to beat a dead horse but this thread reminds me of something I saw not to long ago on Real TV I believe. A kid on a three wheeler was racing a Jeep on a Drag strip side by side. The three wheeler won the race but soon as they crossed the finish line the jeep lost control and guess where he went, yep!! changed lanes and ran right toward the three wheeler and over top of it. Luckily! the kid wasn't hurt too bad but it could've been disastrous. Just remember no matter how safe you think it is, Things can go wrong. As forest says...thats all I got to say bout that.

Supergumby5000-
Sorry for being harsh, I just don't want to see you get hurt. Besides, you might trash a perfectly good quad and that would break all of our hearts.
