Default fan motor

i want to take the fan motor off to save weight i mostly ride fast will the motor over heat with out it

It might run hotter then normal, and when you slow down it might start to over heat... The hotter it runs the more top ends you will go through....

I would just leave it on it don't weigh that much...

There are guys who do it. You need to look into some of the radiator addatives that help cool it down like Water Wetter or something. Do your homework and be careful

I wouldnt do it! there are better things to take off to loose weight.Like the starter .

i have my starter, battery, oil pump /oil tank, and all the metal stuff on the frame cut off that i don't need

For no more than the fan weighs, and the chances you'll take if you remove it, just diet and lose 3 pounds.
