I was wondering since i seen adujustable struts kit for polaris if the ones made to fit one of the 250's would fit my beartracker 250?because i think one of the 250's uses the same macpherson struts with 4.9 inches of travel as mine?

they are prolly differant. No polaris ever used a strut setup that only had 4.9" of travel, even the early machines (such as mind) had 6.5. I'm guessing it wouldn't work. also, you'd have to make sure both shocks would bold on the same, i'm guessing that the top of your strut has one bolt going vertically threw it? cuase if it does, it won't work for sure. good luck!

Hermz, any chance of seeing a pic of your classic. I know they look basically the same, but it would be nice to see an original. I could post it on my websites readers rides if you have one. If not, oh well.

I would like to buy an old Cyclone. Problem is, they are few and far between, and I am sure hard to find parts for. But it would be neat to have one.

P.S. My home town is near you, in Oconto. But I am living in Maine with the military right now.

I can't really complain bout it, a cyclone would be pretty awsome.

Wow, what a classic. Looks pretty good if you ask me for a 15 year old machine. Love the colors on it.

That's a sharp looking classic you got there Hermz. A friend of mine has a blue '87. It sat in a barn for many years until he resurrected it.

all orignal colors, cept for the springs, which were supposed to be red. Also, the Gas tank was suppose to be blue, but after years and years, gallons and gallons of gas dripping on it, the color has faded away. Back then they didn't have anything around the cap, so if you spilled a lil next to it, it runs down the side.
