Default Fuel Types for Predator

I was wondering if the different types of fuel are worth the price. Doug stocks C12, Ultimate 4, and Ultimate 2. My motor is stock, and I was wondering if these are worth it. I am going to Little Sahara in a couple of weeks and if they are worth it I would try them down there. I have a few boys to race who go with us, they ride a pretty stock banshee, z400, and a yamaha 250 dirtbike of somekind. These boys, 15 and 16 yrs old, are pretty confident and I want to be able to put the hurt to them. Will the fuel help. I know that it burns cleaner, but does it give power too?? Thanks for all of the advice. Brad

i dont think it will give any power.. usually need to up the compresion to get anything out of it..
if the shee only has pipes.. you can take it.. and the z400... you can take it.. and the 250? if its a 4 stroke it will only go about 60 if a 2 stroke you probably wont win..

Thanks hozed. I will forget about the fuel then. Thanks for the advice on racing too. I think the moto is a 4 stroke. So hopefully I can make the ol' Pred show some pride. Thanks again Brad

Octane does not equal power unless you have the compression to use it. Save the money

The Ultimate 4 will make slightly more power, it is oxygenated. You will have to increase jet size by a couple of jets. The price is not worth the gains. Regular race gas will make less power. Now methanol will make a major difference, but requires alot of mods to work properly. 87 octane will probly be your best bet. It makes the most power on a stock Pred.
