Default Non- concentric sproket swap

Do you have to loosen the swingarm to put a 13t on a non conc. sport? Just the rite side or do I have to go behind the clutch cover? Thanx in advance.

Output shaft is on the right side so you don't need to mess with the clutch. You do need to remove the rear brake caliper and rotor so you can get to the sprocket. No big deal on a sport; a bit more trouble on a scrambler 4X4. You will need to adjust your chain, too.

Didn't answer your question the first time... No need to mess with the swing arm either.

Default Non- concentric sproket swap

Well... I just finished swapping my cousins sproket on his 97 400 sport. From a 12 to a 13. And I have one thing to say, HORRAY FOR CONCENTRIC DRIVE!. There is no way the 12t is goin by the swing arm bushing without loosening the hanger bolt -much less putting the 13 t back on. Had to grind down a 7/8 wrench to fit between the swingarm and the plastic chain guide. --And I thought changing the sproket on my bikes was a beeotch!!--
