Default 2004 Predator noises

I just got a 2004 Polaris Predator 500, and it makes a LOT of noise. It sounds like the whole fourwheeler is rattling. I've heard it mentioned before, but is it normal?

Gotta admit its a noisy quad. Most of it will go away with a new chain roller.

EVERYTHING On the 04 Predator rattles loose.THe bolts come off the plastics and they fall off the heat sheild.also the rear brake light switch is loose on the frame. I put a rubber washer under it.THen after awhile your air box will start to beat it's self off the frame untill it falls onto you rear shock. The most likely Noise is from the front plastic cab.It has a clip on both sides that just slide onto a bolt on the gas tank. That clip just sits there,It's not bolted on but, It holds the plastics on loosely. It will be the #1 Noise.I broke my clips off and drilled a hole in the plastics and put a bolt though it into the gas tank bolting spot.NO MORE NOISE!!

Funny had the same issue with the mounting brackets for the front cab on the tank - a low speed tip over which caused little damage to the plastic but did manage to snap that bracket off the side of the cab - my plan was to drill through the side of the cab and but a longer bolt into the bolt hole on the side of the tank … Nice to know someone else has done it and it worked - thanks!
