Buy a k&n and a twin air for really dusty places.
About the shinney rims go with billet and polish it with mother metal polish.
Billet is a bit pricey

Buy the K&N and an Outerware. Check your jetting after installing it and enjoy it.
Sorry, but no help on the rim question

Ive seen some of your pics and I would hesitate to put aluminum rims under those conditions. Maybe chrome?
I have no experience with aftermarket rims, just an opinion.

shouldn't need re-jetting with just a K&N. Get Douglas .190's or ITP T-9 Edge rims.

The QuadFather--I like that :-)
Cobb--I liked the "just answer the question"-I would have known that was you. Anyone ever want to take you up on the "Cobb's Moab Challenge"? I think Poopsie knows her way around Moab well enough to leave most challengers stranded, herself!
Please post what you do and how it works out with the modifiaction.

K&N will work great. No re-jetting is required.
Don't know about chrome wheels. good luck Polcat

Thanks each and everyone of you, sounds like K&N hands down with outer wear.Jetting is no problem I can handle that.I think the idea of the chrome over alum is good idea, some thing I hadn't thought about.I wouldn't be getting shiney wheels but TXDOC was bragging about them on his RUBBY can't have him be looking better than me. LOL CM

Doc your right about Poopsie, she handles that 500sp like a pro, follows me just about any where I go some times I have to help, but majority of times does it herself.

Hey Chickenmeister! When do I get my guided tour of Moab? I live in northern UT only about 4 hours away and although I have been to Moab several times I have never done it by ATV. What trails do you recommend? Moab is truly "God's Country"!
