will modded trailboss 325 beat stock trailblazer
#1
hi guys i have a 2002 trailboss 325, with a kn filter and a clutch spring for midrange power, i was wondering how fast the trailblazer is in stock form compared to my bike? i plan to add a exhuast probably aaen the power does not engage untill about 1600 rpm on my bike, the spring i got was put in by a the dealership so it probably isnt name brand or anything, does jetting make a big difference or should i buy the exhuast for this bike? im a big guy 6 foot over 300lb a little more power would be nice cant afford a bigger machine right now, any help appreciated thanx.

the top end of the two is probly pretty close to the same but with a few mods i'm sure it would probaly beat it . jetting exaust and intake are a great way to liven the machine up and add extra horse power.

r u sure about that? I was told that the tb does about 50, and with the mods i got, about 55? I am pretty sure that it can go over 40 because my dads quad goes about 40 and i have a better top end.

so which one of these modifications produces more power on there own, the jetting or exhuast, is it ok to get just one or should i save up for both what kind of noticeable difference will i see in power compared to the mods i already have right now?

a new pipe without jets would not do anything for you jets are only about $2.50 each and if your clutch doesent engage in the powerband right you will never get the jetting right close but not spot on its not as Complicated as it all sounds but i would give someone who can set you up right with a group of parts that will complement each other and your riding style everyone will say this "cus its true" call Rick Ritter
and let him set you up you can but an rcr stage 1 with everything you need or you can buy it Peace by Peace..

i know i subscribe to them but they never give polaris much credit the Review was good but they underestimated the speed i have never heard of a trailblazer that would only do 40

I have personally seen a 325 Trailboss keep up with a stock 500 scrammy. The Trailboss had the HSP speed kit. It was able to beat the 500 off the line and pull on it untill it topped out in speed then the 500 top end kicks in and just passes it. I think the top speed of the 325 with the speed kit was around 63 or so. It tore my Trailblazer up when I was stock but it is no match now. The 325 definately can out pull my Trailblazer. We have hooked up before and it pulled me all over.
