How do i take out a starter on a trail boss 250 i took out 2 bolts and it wouldnt budge i taped it with a hammer thinking it would knock it lose but still it wouldnt budge what am i missing here?

BTW its an electric start

 

There are two bolts and a bracket that must be removed.Youll have to take off the recoil housing and access two bolts from that side.On the driver side of the starter there is a bracket attached to the end of the starter.This bracket can be a booger to get to.But it will come out.Just remember to put silicone on the recoil housing before you reinstall.Scott.
