hi all ....is this normal

i have a 2001 and 1999 scrambler , in the same case the air cleaner container have a small spoot of oil .......

WOW you are the first new user i have ever seen that had purchased a supporting membership the first day..

On my scrambler i get oil in the air box too, no biggy its normal, its just from the crank case breather...

Now that i have seen that photo, do you go up any steep inclines or do wheelies? That is quite a bit of oil...

SEBAS1974, do you do a lot of wheelies or stand the machines on end at all? That will cause oil to flow past the breather filter into the air box. No biggie. Just pull the sediment drain tube plug and rinse out the air box

I was about to post a similar question in the Kawasaki forum. My Prairie's air box has oil all over.

It's normal if you have rolled it or ride lots of wheelies. Clean it out with rags and or the drain. If your filter is soaked in oil, you'll need to replace it too.
