Default Question on head pipe's on SP 500

I bought a new Big Gun exhaust system for my SP500 and it seems that the flange that goes over the head pipe gasket is too large. Could it be that the head pipe's for the 500 and 500HO are different diameter's. It all hooks up, but the springs loops on the pipes are too close to each other for the springs to have any tension. What's up with this? Someone with a HO want to buy a new Big Gun system.

Default Question on head pipe's on SP 500

Well, I will answer my own question. 2001 and up have a different head pipe and the exhaust on 2000 and older will not interchange. I did the research on Partsland web site. Thanks Partsland for the web site. Anyway, Big Gun is now on eBay!
