Default bogging scrammy

i just bought a 1995 scrambler 400 4x4 that has been bored over 25 it was done by a professional shop i have the receipt, when i was just riding around the yard it ran really good but i took it out in a field and when i get past like half throttle it starts to bog down it will speed right back up if you let out a little but i think i was only goin like 45 and we all know the scrambler will spank that speed. my friend said it might be the carb i would like some feedback on what you guys think

Sounds like the carb to me, could be the fuel filter too or the air filter.

Ride it again and when it bogs kill the engine, use the switch on the handlebars.Look at the plug ,this should tell you what's happening.Let us know what the plug looks like.

it doesnt really bog down like its a fuel problem it jsut wont go any faster when you give it more gas it jsut slows down till you back off a bit

you are going to half to do the burn test like ced said "that sounds funny outloud" it sounds like you are running to rich/lean in the carb when your piolet jet kicks in you have to do the test he said to let us know whats going on but its Probably your carb
