i saw the show last night,the first time they showed him riding he was with his daughter and another dude and he was on a red and yellow banshee with dual pipes,at first he was riding like he had some sense and then when they came from commercial brake they showed him ridng on a hill and the bike seemed to have hit its powerband and the screen went blank and when it came back on it showed someone runnin over to ozzy laying on the groung a couple of feet away from the shee unconscious,then they had to put him on the polaris and rode back slowly,after that i flipped channels and when i turned back he was sayin somethin about how he would never ride a quad bike again like he was petrified

none of them had on helmets and it seemed as if he knew what he was doing until he tried to ride fast and the powerband kicked in

 

i totally agree with the other posts in regard to your remark rojo, just because he is successful and rich doesnt mean he can ride, it doesnt make him better than anyone else. his finances and the quality of his music also do not validate him as an intelligent person, so no matter how much money somebody makes, they can still, and very often seem to be, idiots.

 

I think that being on a tv show had a lot to do with it. Most of us would try to show off if we knew someone important was watching, never the less millions of viewers. Personaly, i wouldnt have jumped on a shee for my first time riding, even though they are great quads.
I also think it is extremely funny to hear that the major news reporters and so on said a honda banshee that weighed 600lbs and could hit 150 mph. That just goes to show that the media has very little credit.

 

I totally agree that the philosophy of money = wisdom is the most pathetic conclusion one could make. Good for Ozzy if he has more money than I'll ever make, he still made/makes himself look like an idiot regardless. He's good for a laugh now and then, but no one that I want to idolize. Howard Stern too.

The next Eric Clapton??? First of all, Eric Clapton is a MUCH better musician than Ozzy could dream of. For one, Clapton plays guitar as well as vocals. Please don't make the mistake that many ignorant people make in music and give all the credit to Ozzy. His band played just as big of role in his/their success.

Oh and hearing 2 Ozzy/Sabbath songs per hour on the same radio station is the reason I no longer listen to the radio. No variety and never anything new and interesting. Always some new untalented a$$clowns that are force fed over and over.
