what is the worst thing you ever did/ went through with ur atv?

 

mud over my back wheels and water up to my front plastics. the mud was a pain in the *** the water was fun.

 

Well, the worst thing that ever happened to my quads is a broken belt on the trail which isnt a big deal anyways since I always have spare belts along. The worst I've gone through is a stream that was about 40 ft. across and about 4 ft. deep and the wheeler made it just fine as long as you keep movin. I had to stand on my seat to keep from gettin soaked crossin the stream

 

I got my 02 Sportsman 400 stuck in a mud hole with the water over the back rack and right up to the bottom of the upside down p-trap on the snorkel for the belt. I tried to keep it running while my slow poke buddy got the winch hooked up but it stalled and would not start. I thought I had filled the motor full of water but once it was out of the mud hole it started right up, must have been too much back pressure with the muffler that far under water. The motor sure sounded weird being completely under water, all you could really hear was some bubbling coming out of the exhaust. Not sure if I will try that again!!

i had our 02 sportsman 400 floting in water, I didn't think the ditch was that deep. it just droped right off, good thing that it flots high enough for the watter not to get in the air box, but some did get in the pvt though. not to much cuz we go going not to long after. I think i will install a drain on it.

 

I thought I was at a different part of the trail we had. I was planning on hitting a small jump and keep going. I was really at the creek crossing. It has a small jump just before it. Needed to go 20 feet, made it 19. Ouch.

 

Completely sunk the rancher. I mean you couldnt even see the handlebars. Dad didnt think the hole was that deep...

 

Fordyce Creek OHV trail!!! Like the Rubicon but way worse!! Giant boulders lots of water crossings and a ton of hard work!

the worst thing i ever did wasnt on a atv it was a old 3 wheeled amf gold cart lol heres the story.... a friend of mine had this golf cart sitting up in his field for years and year no motor or inside so we painted it all up as a fire truck and put stuff on it for 2 of my lil cuzs to ride in ( pulled behind a 4 wheeler and it was just a small home town parade where anyone can enter atv, cart or trucks into) so after tehy had there fun it was time for us[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] we puled it up to the bikni ( a really deep place to swim that has a 40 foot cliff on the one side) and i was drving the cart while justin was holding the tow rope until we got some speed then he let go and we went cruzing off of the cliff and jumped out in mid air into the water. that was pretty crazy i wish we woulda toke a video camera or even a camera
