Muddy Trail Boss
#2
LOL,
My 03 Trail Boss goes through the mud as deep as my friends 03 Yamaha 400 Big Bear. He gets more muddy than me. So I gues I'm saying it could be worse.
Don't know for sure, look at your Magnum and see if it has fender skirts that will fit. Are you sure you're not spraying mud on her?

When we first started riding we only had the Trail Boss. I'd come back and my wife would complain 'cause I got mud on it. Now she has a Blazer, and really hates it when I ride it. The only thing I think you could do is make wider mud flaps than are already on it. Depnding on how far you go around the fenders, you may have to drill some more holes to mount them.

I was thinking about extending my plastic a little by just taking a thicker metal screen or the stuff people use for billet grills and bolting it on the sides to give about 4-6 more inches of protection. Although, i was going to cut my plastic first and add the metal just for looks. It should still work for your application though.
Hope this helps in some way!

I have the extended fenders from Polaris. I think they still sell them ( I don't see why not). They were on the quad when I bought it. They make the quad appear so much bigger, but definately do provide good protection from slinging mud compared to my friend's Scrammy w/ out the extensions. I would give these a try. There are some pics of my quad in my photo album if you want to check out the fenders. There aren't really any really good pics, but enough to get an idea.
Getting muddy is the fun part!

If you dont mind making your own extenders get some good thin rubber that has renforsing thred in the middile of it and bolt that to the bottom of your fender with some some stainless steal bolts and washers. it will stand up alot better than the ones you buy. I did that to our three wheeler, works great.
