i toke the top end off today to get it milled tommrow and its half way brown ( pretty dark) and the other half has like black stuff on it that you can flake off.. is this ok or what does this mean..... i put a pic of in in my gallery but it inst approved yet

well ive just put a dg pipe on to make it a lil lounder right when winter began. so a 150 main jet me good?? and the air/fuel screw on the carb to get it right dont u just start up the atv and turn it until u fine the point where the rpms are up the highest??

I dont know if putting that pipe on would have made it run lean or rich and also dont know what u were running for a main prior to the pipe, but yes the pilot jet would be adjusted trying to find the highest rpm. and then adjust the idle to specs. Run the machine from idle to 1/4 throttle to check for smoth acceleration, and the lack of any stumble. If it feels good you should be dialed in. but still check plug to make sure.

yeah b/c i had the stock one and my friend had one and i just bought it off of him for like 50 bucks.. the dg pipes hardly add any H/P but i got the top end done today and put back on and man i can feel the differnce it just has alot more power i love it i didnt think it would add that much power... does any of you know by taking 25 thousandts off how many hp that gives you i was j/w
