have a 04 sportsman with no fuel gage....just wondering if anyone has run it on reserve to see how far it really lasts[i know that different conditions will make it vary alot but just curious!]

 

For the 500HO they say about 7-10 miles. I always top it off before I go out the thing is to heavy to push.

 

Probably 15min or so.. I had the same problem i went to my dealer and got a gas gage for $20...

 

what kind of gage?is it a polaris product?how does it work?

 

yes its a Polaris gage it comes standard on all 04 polaris quads,, Its a float type gage like a tractor or boat have... As the float moves up it turns the needle.. I find it to be very accurate when you are on level ground and not moving...

 

Yeah, ask your dealer, you can get the float guage gas cap. But reserve will take you 5-10 miles depending on if you are working the machine hard or not.

 

hey pudljumper, I noticed they updated the site again. Have you ridden at Brooks before?? I was just wondering what to expect. Do I need anything special for my Pred, other than a kill switch?? Thanks Brad

 

By any chance, does anyone know how to fill the reserve on a tb?
