I finally got my clamp on k&n and pipes dialed in this afternoon-- I was running the clamp on and twins with a 170 main and the needle on the 4th clip and it was bogging at about 1/2 to open throttle. I called the company lte,,, and they told me to try it on the 3rd clip with a 165 main and stock pilot... I tried that and it did not run any better. So then i went the other way with it by putting the needle on the 5th and last clip and running a 175 main.. It fired up and seems to be running great-- so happy i finally got it dialed in. I was thinking about chaging the pilot jet to a 50,, would this help me or kill me??

 

i run a 50 pilot... and most with a clamp on do... but if its running fine that dont bother.

 

hozed what does the pilot do ,, i know it adjusts your 1/4 throttle problems, anything else
