Default PLEASE HELP ME BIG PROBLEM

ok i will try to tell you everything i picked my quad (95 scrammy 400 4x4) up from the shop because i had to have the carb tuned so i got it home and it ran better than ever so i pulled it up in the yard and it still ran fine, it has not had lights since i got it so i bought some driving lights for a car, i wired them straight to the battery in a fused line i got them done and i tried to ride it to test them out when it started to bog and backfire i got it back to my yard and shut it off i got it started once more and it died so i looked at the plug and its not getting fire i dont know why is there some way that i blew a fuse or the coil or what i dont know please help

the lights you got might have been taking away to much power and not giving any to the spark plug

i unhooked them and it still wont start
not firing i checked the plug and it was fine its getting gas just no fire, is it possible that the lights were too much and it blew something is there a fuse somewhere or would it blow the cdi or coil

Test your coil and see if that is getting power

Ive ben doing good. Thanks for asking. Its been awhile since I messed around with a coil, but I would say that you would want to check and make sure you have power coming into the coil. There should be some wires coming in. Then make sure you have power coming out of the coil. That way you know whether the coil is even working. It is possible that the lights could have drew too much current and caused something to go bad. Im not sure though
