what winch would you put on a 700, and where would you buy it from?

On such a big machine i would get the 3000 lbs Warn winch. You may be able to get it at your local atv dealer or go to www.warn.com then go to products scrol up to atvs then in the upper right hand corner it says dealer locator click on that and it should help you.

 

If you find it for less than $375 delivered to your door, let me know. Otherwise, ebaY is your answer.

 

Definetly check out EBay.. I bought the wireless remote control Ramsey 2500 and mount kit for $400 including shipping... Good Luck!

 

At least the Warn 2500 (which is probably ideal). But if you are made of money or only the best will do, then get the 3000 lb warn. Ebay is your best bet. $368.50 to the door on a 2500 pounder.

 

wireless remote? wow that would be sooooo nice! i was thinking what a good idea a remote is after seeing all the tension on that wire while pulling a stuck 700 lbs machine!

 

I just purchased a 3.0 Warn off ebay and installed on a 2004 600 sportsman, install was easy and it works great. I purchased a better winch mount from kappers mfg. off ebay, its a one piece mount and much stronger than the Polaris mount.

 

I just bought the Ramsey 3000 with wireless remote for $335 including shipping. The mount was $55 and about $7 shipping, all for about $400. Go to Trax Motorsports and check it out. Trax Motorsports I do like the idea of the wireless remote but I ordered the Warn Mini Rocker for plowing.

 

check out the tusk winches, rockymountainatv.com. there super inexpensive with a waruntee on them.
