Default Anyone with experience with 27" Bi/Tri Claws

I just recently ordered a set of these tires and I expect them to come in this week. I am going on a big ride next weekend. I have read several opinions about how bad these tires will rub the fenders. I don't want to put on a lift. I was thinking of moving the floorboards back to prevent the rub. I am going to shim the studs with washers so they will not rub the tire rod ends. I just can't believe that people say that I have to have a lift or they will rub bad. I have an 03 polaris 500HO and I will be mounting them on stock rims. Did you these tires rub on your machine and if so how did you stop it? Thanks

i believe that mtpockets had some on his 700. you might want to get in touch with him. Im getting ready to get a 700efi and put 27" 589s on it. just have to cut a little piece out of the fender. couldn't even tell it on the demo bike to he pointed it out to me. Good luck
