I have a 1998 Polaris Sport 400. It has never been rebuilt and is starting to run alittle sick. I was wondering if a new topend kit would make it run almost like new. Also are there any good aftermarket performance upgrades that will make it noticeable faster? Thanks in advance.

A fresh topend will definately help. While you got it off you can get it ported (200$) Or you cuuld just install the new Wiesco and add a trail pipe and a clutch kit and be real happy. The mods available are STUUPENDOUS Dont forget a new belt and check clutch alignment

Patience, here are a couple. www.aaenperformance.com, www.hotseatperformance.com, www.erlandsonperformance.com, www.rittercycle.com, lrdperformnace.com, www.hpd-inc.com.
There you are. And yes I would imagine that a new top end on an origonal 98 400 would wake it up depending on how much use its seen. good luck.
