I need your HELP, on a 1998 250 Trail Blazer!!!!!!

I talk to Rick Ritter at RCR Racing, concerning the RCR Stage 1 Performance Kit, earlier today. I have decided to go with the low end pipe, shave the head, do some porting, and install a UFO in the Carb to eliminate the bottom end bog. Rick was also telling me to shave the fly wheel (10-12oz.), but i don't know anyone in Edmonton that will. I have one problem. I don't know what i should all do for my clutching. I want the bike to wheelie, and be hot and out front in the start, but i still want some top end grunt. So if you guys/girls can tell me what the best clutching is for the TB it would be greatly appreciated. I need to know what all i need so i can let Rick know when i place my order. I also really like the mudd, and will want more bottom end power. So any suggestions with the set up i am going with would really help, and any info you guys/girls can provide would be great. I am hoping to place an order this week or early next week.(With a company, most likely Rick). Also concerning the sound of the low end pipe. Is it nice and loud, or does it sound quiet and bad?
Thank You

To make it easy go with the HPD trail pipe and agressive clutch kit. This will give tons more power in all throttle positions. Rick also sells HPD products so you can get great performance with great customer help. You will NOT be disapointed with that pipe. Thism is the best all around pipe that you can find.

Hey how does that work, (lighten the fly wheel).....what all do they do? I have a buddy that works in a machine, he has been doing it for years. What would I need to tell him to do? All this does is make it rev faster right...or wrong? Will this give you more top end speed or not.

I'm not positive on a quad, but my uncle set my 390 Ford flywheel on something that looked like a big lathe and just shaved down the surface. After he balanced it and I was good to go. It mostly just allows the motor to rev faster, making the acceleration a little quicker.

I have a buddy that can do it....I think...I need to ask him frist, maybe I can save some $$$$. I have put alot of money in this thing, just like you guys..they are not cheap. The biggest thing is if my buddy can balance the flywheel, I don't know if he can or not. If he can't I will send it to rick later on.

You can have HPD or RCR shave your flywheel. With the race lightened flywheel you WILL
notice a big difference in throttle response but you will also have to remove the battery.
With the trail lightened flywheel you retain the battery but you won't get near as much
throttle respnse. You may get a little more top end but most of that will come from the
pipe and clutch. The aggresive clutch kit is the way to go and you can get that from
HPD or RCR.
Just a side note----- my computer is acting up so I have limited access to the internet
so I might not be able to respond to any questions!
