6X6 TRAX
#1
Just installed trax on my 00 sp 6x6 last night. We are going to Bigrock atv park in maysville ky tomorrow to try them out.I rode it around my yard last night it really seamed cool, but there is nothing like trail riding to put them to the test. There are some good hills and old cattle ponds I have been dying to try.If anybody is interisted I'll let you know how it did. I finally found a fellow owner of a 6x6. I have the 2000 Sportsman 500 6x6 and was wondering how good the trax are in trail, mud and water conditions. email me or reply back here to let me know how good they do because I have been thinking about getting some.

I have tracks on my 2000 Sportsman 6X6 and they are great in water and mud. The only thing you have to worry about is that it is tough on the belt. Keep it in low, and start full bore, no easing into it (per my dealer when they replaced my worn one under warranty). I replaced the bed with one that has three seats and a dog box, use it for duck hunting and have yet to get stuck. Turning radius suffers, but you will keep moving. They are not extremely easy to put on and take off (in my opinion), so I just leave mine on always. Good luck.
