scrambler jetting

Default scrambler jetting

i just put on my hpd trail pipe and installed the 30 pilot and the 260 main jet.where should i run the needle clip at and the air screw,i run without a airbox so what would you guys recomend?thanks

always start rich and for the needle just do a plug check get the temps to operating temps and hold the throttle around half throttle then shut the bike off and pull the plug out if the electrode thing is black then its rich so you should raise the needle clip one notch up its the plug is tan then your on the money and if its white then your running lean and you need to put the clip one notch down.

yea im pretty sure just have it in neutral and do it and be careful not to burn your arm on the motor or exhaust... i think its a little better when you ride it though because then you know where the sweet spot is but you dont have to ride it
