scrambler headlight bulbs

Default scrambler headlight bulbs

anybody know where i can get some brighter bulbs for my headlights?i was thinking 55watt should do the trick..

Do you have the one light on the cowl, or the 2 lights on the handle bars?

I wouldnt screw around with the bulbs. I tried it and it was more work than it was worth, plus the heat melted the plastic lense. Look at my pics. I replaced the headlights with 55wt driving lights

are those the ones with the blue lens?i think i have a set of them kicking around somewhere,the wiring was just a few simple splices right?thanks..

Yep, the ones with the blue lense. I had to grind off a little of the housing so they would fit right. Then I also had to bore out the mounting hole some and use a few spacers to get it just right. For the wiring, I have it wired to my existing headlight wiring. I soldered the high and low beam wires together so that the lights will be on in high or low (I believe that they were a green and a white wire?). Then, I just used some connectors to wire them up to the power and ground for the lights. Works great!
